The Turner Farmhouse offers lakeside accommodations for ten or more people on a private preserve in northwest Vermont. Whether you're seeking a secluded nook for a family vacation of fishing, hiking, and reading, or a 200-acre wilderness for a team-building corporate retreat, the Turner Farmhouse can meet your needs.
The Turner Farmhouse is nestled among the cedars on a tiny Vermont island in Lake Champlain. The house itself is located directly on the lake with access to boating, fishing, and swimming just steps away.
This historic home has a full kitchen, two enclosed porches, several sitting rooms, four bathrooms, and five bedrooms. The home sleeps more than ten people and can accommodate many more for daily activities and gatherings. Provisions for babies and young children (including a crib, stairway gates, and toys) are available.
The surrounding island village has a country store, apple orchard, post office, library, art gallery, tea garden, fossil preserve, and pizzeria (summer only). The local Recreation Department and Community Organization offer ongoing public events (movie nights, festivals, BBQs, boat parades) during the spring, summer and fall. There is always an activity to choose from!
Located on a private and gated road, the property offers the utmost in seclusion and privacy; however, a one-hour drive in any direction will bring you to the cities of Montreal, Burlington, St. Albans, and Plattsburgh.
